On Saturday and Sunday the 8th and 9th of December we commandeered some offices and held Q3F's second Devathon! In attendance were Fluffy_gIMp (lead artist), RR2DO2 (lead programmer), Marauder (lead audio), Mox (artist), Wils (level designer) plus myself (project lead) and a couple of play-testers.
We had planned to work across the net with those dev-team members that couldn’t make it here in person, but sadly we lacked an internet connection. That said, those members of the Q3F team that couldn’t get here, worked hard from their own homes instead.
Our goal then, was to complete the development of the first Q3F Beta 2 release candidate, and while we fell just short of that goal, we are now considerably closer to a release than we were when we started. We expect to provide Build 21 to our QA team on Sunday 16th December – a 99% complete release of Beta 2!
Having all attended a Christmas party the night before, many of us started on Saturday morning with fairly big hangovers, so bear that in mind when you look at these photos :)
