Development Tools
This section is still growing, but contains some of the tools that we've developed during Q3F's production. Because we found them invaluable to us as developers on the Quake 3 engine, we've decided to release them publicly here so that other MOD developers can benefit from them. We will continue to add more tools as Q3F's development continues.

Released
Atmospheric Effects Source Following a number of enquiries from other MOD teams, we've released the source code and instructions for getting our truely-3D atmospheric effects (such as rain or snow) going within Quake 3. In addition to handling vectors for these effects, our atmospheric effects system also allows for features such as rain impact spots.
Chilli Chilli is a plugin for GtkRadiant. It is used to display bezier spline paths in GtkRadiant, and to export them to a SPD (SPline Data) file.
Q3Font Q3Font is a tool to create the font files used by Q3 1.25+. A font exist from a number of tga's, called fontImage_#_<size>.tga and a fontImage_<size>.dat file.

Under Development
Spirit & F2R Essentially a two part project, first of all F2R is a small scripting system that allows a 'system' to be attached to any rendered model. One of the systems we're currently working on is Spirit, a full fledged particle engine.
